Design Features
The 136's heavy construction and rigid refiner case supports maintain tram alignment unsurpassed in the industry. With heavy duty motor supports, 1" (2.54 cm) thick mounting plate and 2" (5.08 cm) diamter threaded motor mounting rods, vibration is greatly reduced. Additionally, all process contact parts are constructed with 316 stainless steel for increased operating life.
Quick release mechanism
The location of the grind disc, which controls plate gap, is accurately controlled within thousandths of an inch by a hand wheel and indicator dial. The disc is held in position with springs that maintain a constant loading pressure. Fluid Quip's quick release mechanism is designed for simple and easy retraction of the grind disc, and includes a safety lock that prevents accidental clashing of the grind plates.
